Teacher and Girl Scout Leader Gifts (Free Printable)

Recently we had some teacher and Girl Scout leader gifts we made. They were very simple, inexpensive and easy to put together.

We homeschool, so our teacher gifts are a little different than the typical teacher gifts. We give them to teachers at our co-op or a teacher for a class one of my children took for the whole year. I don’t know if lots of homeschooling parents do this, but we enjoy doing it because we appreciate our teachers and my kids think it is fun.

For the teacher gifts I found inspiration from a post ‘Smartie Pants Teacher Gift’ on Uncommon Designs Online. I used her idea mixed with my own addition and wording. I printed the pants that I used from a Valentine post on Tip Junkie.

Here is the result for our teacher gifts this year. We added a few highlighters to our pail of Smarties. Our teachers really put a lot into the classes they teach and they really are one of the highlights of my children’s school year.

Snowflake wanted to give a little something to her Girl Scout leaders as well. She is a Junior Girl Scout this year. I used the ideas I mentioned above as inspiration and came up with a cute, inexpensive gift to give her leaders.

I started with the idea of what candy to put in the little pails we found at the dollar spot at Target.

I came up with my own ‘clever’ wording. Then I used my Forever Artisan to make the tag for the little pail. (I used it for the tag for the teacher gift as well, but I forgot to save that project like a dingy…so I can’t share that printable with you) I tried to make it look like a Girl Scout badge. Snowflake was happy with how they turned out and happy to give them to her leaders last night at her awards ceremony.
My sweet Snowflake receiving all her badges and journey patches! So proud of her! She even did a badge all on her own without even telling me.
One last look.

If you would like to make your own gift for a Girl Scout leader. Click Here to download a pdf file of the tag I made. Enjoy!

These are too cute!  My kids are really little and my oldest will just start school in the fall so I’m saving this ideas for future reference! 🙂
