My three grand daughters live nearby. They are such a busy family, teaching, coaching, activities, all going in different directions. My way of helping, besides picking up and dropping off is to bake for easy breakfasts. The apple bread, with nuts, is the first I’ll try this week. Coming home from school, they say they are starving, and watching them in the kitchen, I say it is true. So the nutella apple dip and for dessert the apple caramel turnovers will be something new. The recipe doesn’t say what to do with the egg white with a little water, i assume that is to brush on top of the puff pastry before putting the powdered sugar on and baking.

Alas, too old for American girl dolls now, they HAD to get older while I think I stay the same. But, treasures galore in all the clothes I have made for them, for their own children.

Thanks for your great stuff. You can post this if you’d like to.

It sounds like I need you to come live nearby! I would love to have a Mom nearby that could help as much as you are able. Sounds lovely! I hope you and your grandkids love the things you give a try! 🙂
