Hi everyone! Welcome to the 22nd Real Family Fun link party. I’m glad you are here.
Today has been such a busy day (as was yesterday), that I am just barely getting this done and ready for you before the party begins….whew! Before I forget, next week the features will be on Wednesday morning because I have a special blog post for you on Tuesday. So don’t forget to check back for both of those posts next week.
In case you haven’t seen the features from last week, you can see them at Real Fun Features #21.
We have been busy with playing at the park, running errands, summer crafts at Michael’s, horse riding lessons, and I finally just got our year end testing completed for our homeschool year today. Thank goodness I still have a couple of weeks to get it to the state.
Also, thank goodness that everyone has improved/ grown this year, everyone is on track or above their level. I love year end testing for those reasons. It gives me some peace of mind that we have done well for the year and that I’m not totally messing up my children (at least academically…lol!).
I always stress during the year if I am doing enough and such and so on. Then at the end of the year, our year end testing shows we are just fine. After 6 years of homeschooling, I am finally starting to keep that in mind during the year and not stress so much, knowing that at the end of the year they will have learned what they need to learn. Aren’t kids amazing?!
It has been a busy week on the blog as well. I had a tutorial for you of a simple and quick to makeΒ homemade birthday card. It is really cute too, which always think is a nice bonus!
I told you all about our fantastic day at Busch Gardens and gave you a list of great ideas for natural fun this summer. It is a great challenge to work on getting ourselves and our kids outdoors and away from the electronics this summer. How are you and your family doing?
Yesterday I guest posted on Doll Diaries with an American Girl craft I came up with. I am so happy with this cute craft. It is a set of horse jumps to do show jumping with your dolls and horses. We think they are so stinking cute. You can see the tutorial on making your own set of jumps at Doll Diaries
Today, I shared our Doll and Horse Show Jumping activity. Our dolls had quite the competition of horse jumping. You will have to click through to see who won!
Thank you for hosting such a great link party!

Yes, Yay for the testing being done! It is always a relief. Do you have to do year end testing and feel the same way?
Take care,
KC
I wish I had a one hundredth of your craftiness! Maybe if I keep reading, I’ll get some through osmosis!
Maybe, but your writing is so fantastic, I think you should stick with that. I’ll craft you something if you want something, just so I can keep reading what you write. π
