Over the last week or so I’ve been showing you pieces of our Christmas table decorations as I’ve been getting them ready. Today I’ve got the finished table! Yay! Perfect for some Christmas decorating ideas for you.
While I didn’t follow the odd rule exactly on each side of the centerpiece, I at least have three trees and five candles total, so overall it works. After getting things on the table where I thought they looked good, I added our Christmas dishes to finish the look.
to give it some height and make it stand out a little more. Pedestals are great for that purpose…making something stand out a bit more.
I’m loving this tradition my girls and I have started of coming up with our Christmas table decorations together. It has been fun to hear what they want and then to find creative and inexpensive ways to pull it together. No flying Santa this year like last year, but a cute gingerbread house along with some sparkle, glitter and reversible placemats. Works for me!
Do you have your Christmas decorations up? What will you do for your Christmas table?

What an adorable centerpiece! I can’t believe you crafted so much of it yourself. Well…I can believe it ’cause you are a rock star DIY’er. Let’s just say I’m impressed! Knowing your kiddos played such a big role makes it all the merrier.
Thank you Lisa! Well, I doubt that I am a rock star DIY’er…what I really am is cheap! 😉 It costs so much less to make it myself, it works better for my budget. My girls are really enjoying seeing the table all done and pretty! I hope you are doing well.

Can’t wait to see it in person!
Yay! Not too long until you will get to see it in person. 🙂
Looks great! I never make my table up for the holidays and always envy the ones who do. I like to sew so perhaps some Christmas placemats would be a great place to start!
Thanks! If you do start with Christmas placemats, they are easy to make and totally washable (as long as you pick a washable fabric). Sounds like a great place to start…then you won’t have to envy others. 😉
Take care,
KC
Hi KC, I love your Christmas Table and that Gingerbread house is the cutest. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks so much, Maria! I had so much fun making the gingerbread house (well except for the 7 coats of paint)! 😉
