I am happy to share these pages with you. These are from when Pumpkin turned 4. She is now 5, but I am making progress and getting pages done…so we will look at that victory rather than how far behind I am!

I wanted clean simple pages, with just a little bit of embellishment.
I wanted Pumpkin to be the star of these pages!

My TIP for you today is to mix and match your papers, then re-use the same papers between the pages you are completing. To me, it gives a cohesive look, while still providing something different for your eye to look at and enjoy.

You will notice on these pages that is exactly what I did. I used the same 3 papers for my main papers. I just used them in different ways on each page.

My preference is also toward more simple pages. I think not only are they easier and faster to complete (and I am all about completing!!) but they show off the pictures more. For me the pictures are the point of the scrapbooking, the paper and embellishments are there to enhance and they are the fun in putting things together.

I even did the title just for you all! I added an extra one with her blog name, so you could see how it really looks rather than white out her name…gee I like you guys! 🙂 I did forget to shadow her blog name…so it should be shadowed like the 4 Years Old is shadowed.

Isn’t she absolutely adorable!! Such personality!
I feel like that comes through with the pictures and the simple enhancements on the pages.

What I used:

Forever Artisan Software

Decorative Click and Fill 12×12 pages (all 3 pages)

Enchanted Digital Power Palette for  PC   /   Universal

      Page 1

I started with the Decorative Click and Fill page. I modified it by adding an additional picture as well as removing the ‘punched flowers’ from the page.

Enchanted Paper 11 (background)

Enchanted Paper 14 (Right side)

Flower Lg Black

Flower XLg Red

Flower Lg Striped

Gem White

Enchanted Alpha Set – with block surface applied maxed on magnification and contrast

Page 2

I started this page with Decorative Click and Fill page. I modified it heavily. You can see how I removed the large circle as well as the flowers. I also changed the round picture to a square picture. I wanted simplicity so the great pictures of my daughter would be the main star of the page.

Enchanted Paper 14 (background)

Enchanted Paper 13 (striped paper)

Enchanted Paper 6

Enchanted Paper 26 (mat for photos)

Ribbon Teal – I changed the color to brown to match the photos

Smile Embellishment – changed background color to brown to match photos. I had to separate the Smile elements from the background, then change the background color.

Page 3

I started with the Decorative Click and Fill page. I modified it by removing all text, the circles as well as replacing the flower border with ribbons from the Enchanted Power Palette.

Enchanted Paper 6 (background)

Enchanted Paper 14

Enchanted Paper 13

Flower Lg Striped

Flower Sm White

Gem Red

Ribbon – Teal (color changed to brown)

Ribbon – Red
