Who is ready to see what was in the box this month? I got another Stitch Fix box a week or so ago. Therefore, I’ve got another Stitch Fix Review for you today.

Love the adorable fall fashion is this Stitch Fix Review. Cuteness!

Now we may as well get this out of the way to begin with, winter clothes and I just don’t seem to get along. I’m  not sure if it is because I grew up in Arizona where the need for really warm winter clothes really isn’t necessary or what, but I have a hard time finding winter clothes that I like and that keep me warm. And we live in a place now where I really need winter clothes. Do you feel my pain? So, this time of year, I will be increasing the frequency of my fixes in an effort to have some warm clothing and actually have more than 3 pairs of pants. #Kidding #NotKidding

Before I get into the meat of this fix, let me just take a second to explain what Stitch Fix is…just in case you haven’t heard of them yet. In my opinion, Stitch Fix (affiliate links throughout this post) is perfect for busy moms (like me) or  people who don’t like to shop (like me) or have a fashion addiction and have always secretly wanted their own stylist….Stitch Fix is for you. I also think it is great for helping you find pieces for your wardrobe that you wouldn’t normally even look at in the store. Variety can be a great thing and Stitch Fix helps with that for sure!

You will want to start by signing up for Stitch Fix by clicking here. When you do so, you will fill out a style survey. It will give your stylist ideas of what you like and don’t like as well as your sizing information. Then you need to sign up for your first fix and wait patiently until the box comes. If you are like me, the date of your next fix will be kind of like your due date when you were pregnant….you won’t forget it. At. All.

When your fix is sent, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. Once the box arrives, try on everything in the box within 3 days. I love that I can try things on anytime I want and anytime that is convenient for me.

Select what you plan to keep and what you plan to return. Go online to your Stitch Fix account and check out. Leave your stylist very specific information about what you liked and didn’t like. It will help future fixes get even better. I’ve also found that starting a specific Stitch Fix Pinterest board (like mine here) and ONLY pinning things I would actually wear and that I think would look good on me (versus inspiration and amazing things you like, but would look horrible on) to that board has helped. I leave notes in the pins as to what I like or don’t like in the pin.

As you check out, you will pay for whatever you are keeping. At that time, your $20 styling fee will be deducted from the total cost of the items you are keeping. If you hit the jackpot and you love everything in your box, you will get a 25% discount off everything in the box! Yay!

So, you ready to see what was in the box this month?

First up is the Skies are Blue Candi Mixed Material Roll Tab Knit Top…wow that is a mouth-full!

I paired the shirt with the Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant.

I really thought I was going to love the top. My girls loved it on me. I kind of liked it, but I didn’t love it and the sleeves felt a little tight and I knew I would just end up pulling on them all the time when I wore the top. I feel like the top hits me right at my widest part and that it just doesn’t look that flattering. It would be a great top for just hanging out around the house, but I didn’t really want to spend almost $50 on a top for hanging out around the house.

At first, in my bathroom, I totally thought these pants made me look really skinny. My girls thought otherwise. When I saw the pictures, I decided I didn’t want to keep them. Have I mentioned that winter clothes and I don’t get along? Oh yes, I started the post with that information.

I seriously debated keeping this Skies are Blue Ferris Mixed material Collared Top.

They sent it to go with the Gilli Melanie Printed Swing Skirt.

I am taking my girls to a sock hop at the American Girl store and I really wanted something 50’s inspired for the event. I told my stylist, so she sent a few things that might work.

I wanted to love it, but I didn’t. I think it looks fine on me. It also looks like my mom’s style. Not my style. It is a great idea for a cute swingy swishy skirt for a sock hop.

I decided to give the top a try with a pair of capri pants from another fix. This is pretty much my daily look. Definitely more how I live. See my cute new bag from Charming Charlie? Love it and Charming Charlie! If only pants could be as easy to buy as purses are. Lol!

The last item in the box was sent with the 50’s sock hop in mind. This is the Leota Abilene Printed Sweetheart Dress.

Hello! I love this dress! It is so fun to wear. It is also a bit pricey at $148. It was a really hard choice to make. What would you do?

At this point, my kids decided they had been patient enough and it was time to photo bomb mommy. Pumpkin started first with the crawl in the shot behind mommy move.

Snowflake went for the stick my face right in front of the mirror a second before the camera clicks for the picture. I use a delayed timer when taking these pictures.

Then Snowflake decided that her My Little Pony Stuffie should photobomb as well. I managed to keep Snowflake out, but not the pony.

This is my attempt to say, “Stay out or the pony gets it!”

It didn’t work! Lol!

So, I went with it and posed with the photo bomber and pony. Aren’t they cute? My dress is almost as cute.

Here is what I did with this box:

  • Skies are Blue Candi Mixed Material Roll Tab Knit Top – $48 – Returned
  • Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant – $78 – Returned
  • Skies are Blue Ferris Mixed Material Collared Top – $54 – Returned
  • Gillie Melanie Printed Swing Skirt – $58 – Returned
  • Leota Abilene Printed Sweetheart Dress – $148 – Kept (and feel guilty spending that much, but it is so cute…I can totally wear it to some blog conferences as well, right?)

What would you do with this Stitch Fix box? Leave me a comment below.

The dress is adorable! I really wanted that first blue shirt to work for you, but you are right in that it would look better if it was a little longer. I love the silly pictures!
