Welcome to this week’s features.
I had a whole different beginning to this post, but as a runner I had to change the opening to this post. I would like to ask you to take a moment of silence in honor of what happened yesterday at the Boston Marathon.

Thank you. I am absolutely horrified to see what happened yesterday. Having just finished my own race this weekend and crossing a finish line, I can’t even begin to imagine the horror and chaos that was going on. I can’t even begin to imagine how mad and scared and sad and every other emotion the runners still on the course must have felt. To have trained and qualified for Boston only to have some stupid act screw it all up. Not to mention the loss of life and all the injuries. I just sit shaking my head at the stupidity of this act of violence.
I wish I had something better to say, but as a runner myself I am so sad and horrified by this event. It hits close to home for me. I know that it won’t stop runners from running and competing anymore than the 9/11 stopped America from being America. It makes me so thankful for my run and race on Saturday, even though it totally stunk and wasn’t near the performance I thought I would have. I got to finish the race and my family was there at the finish line all safe and sound. Until today, that just seemed normal. For a whole group of people today, that normal race finish was taken away from them. ::sigh:: So sad.
So now on to the features and the real reason you are here. This week, they were picked by you.
First up, the post with the most visit was A Very Revealing Look at Our Laundry Mud Room Revamp by The Happy Housie. If you haven’t been by to see her laundry mud room re-do, it is truly amazing!
This week there was a tie, so we actually have 6 top posts. Next up:
Also from The Happy Housie: Housie Inspiration: Fabrics for Spring. She shows some fun and pretty ideas for pillows for her living/dining room.
Diana Rambles shows us how to make a Collapsible Light box. You won’t believe how inexpensive it was to make as well as how small it is for storage.
Brenda at Chatting Over Chocolate loves Disney. She gives a great list of Disney Podcasts for you to check out. I had no idea there was such a thing…pretty neat!
The Domesticated Princess has a great post for you. In her post, What I Wish I Knew: How to Beautify Your Blog for Free, she gives you 10 great tips for your blog.
I thought this last post was simply amazing. Sarah from An Inviting Home turned her dining room into an inviting space for friends and family. With five young kids to keep up with, making coffee for guests was a challenge to get to…but not anymore. You must go see the after of this space.
Thanks so much to everyone who linked up. If you want a preview of the features, I usually pin them to my Real Family Fun Features board on Pinterest on Monday nights. 😉 So if you follow me on Pinterest, you get a sneak peak!
If you were featured, please grab a button and proudly display it…you deserve it!
See you back here tomorrow night at 8pm EST for the next Real Family Fun link party!
