Welcome to Real Family Fun! I’m excited to have you here this week. I love having you all come each week and getting to see your awesome creations and ideas.
Tomorrow, my youngest daughter turns 7! Wow…it is hard to believe that she is already 7 and that we moved into this state and this house 7 years ago as well. It is the longest I have ever lived in one place as an adult.
We started celebrating Pumpkin’s birthday this weekend with a fun My Little Pony slumber party. I had fun with the theme…we even made Rainbow Dash’s Wake-up Waffles for breakfast. Those of you who follow me in Instagram may have already seen this, but what do you think?
The girls loved them! The party was a hit. Tomorrow we will celebrate with just our family and end the day with our Girl Scout Halloween Party. Should be a fun day!
We’ve gone Pumpkins on the blog this week! That is my Pumpkin in the center with the pumpkin she carved all by herself. Can you believe my 6 year old can carve a pumpkin that well. I’ve got all kinds of tips and ideas for you to have your own family fun carving pumpkins.
I’ve also got ideas for some family fun at the pumpkin patch. As you probably know, afternoons like this can either be fantastic or a disaster. I’m giving you my tips to make your afternoon a success.
Lastly, I had a bit of a craft fail that I managed to sort of rescue in my quest to add some glitter to our fall with my glitter pumpkins.
What have you been up to? I’m looking forward to seeing and featuring some of you on my social media sites and in the features post next Tuesday.

Happy, Happy Birthday to your little girl!! I hope she enjoys an extra special day! Can’t wait to share your waffle creation with my youngest daughter who LOVES My Little Pony too (&Rainbow Dash just happens to be her favorite)! I hope you and your family have a wonderful time celebrating her tomorrow!
So glad to have you back again, Brenda! I hope you and your family are well. Thanks for the well wishes, my daughter has had a great birthday. Hopefully I’ll have the full My Little Pony party up on the blog, but it probably won’t be until after Valentine’s day because of all the Holiday’s.
Take care,
KC
Hi KC, thanks for hosting another great party! Wish I would’ve thought of those colorful waffles when my kids were young. Must remember for grandkids someday!
