I hope you are enjoying Christmas with loved ones and friends.
I wanted to take a moment to say Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
This year, because of our trip to Arizona for my Aunt’s funeral, we had the opportunity to make gingerbread houses with my brother and his family. My brother and I haven’t had the chance to make gingerbread houses together in over 10 years. It was nice and nice for the cousins to get to make houses together. We all just wish it had been under different circumstances.
For the first time in the 7 years we have lived here, we hosted gingerbread houses at our house. None of our local relatives were able to make it, but we had 4 great family friends who came with their kids. We had such a great time! My parents were here as well. My house was over flowing with people and candy. It was so fun!
We had tons of creativity!
If you are interested in starting this fun tradition with your family next year. I have the recipe along with a printable for the log cutting pattern for you. It is my favorite tradition every year (and I write about it most years as well)!
Merry Christmas! Enjoy your family, friends and loved ones today!
