Today, I’ve got the last in my series about our My Little Pony birthday party. To me, today’s post is the cutest and most fun part. I really had fun with this party and all the different things we did. The activities and games were fun to plan and easy to keep with the theme. The food was super fun to play with for this theme. Then I pulled it all together with the printables I created, which I have for sale for you to use as well! I don’t know about you, but I love it when things come together and are super cute and super fun! What could be better?
My girls really love it when I make printables for them. They always get excited to see what I’ve made. I swear we keep the glass wrappers for what feels like months on end. For this birthday party, I knew the glass wrappers and other printables would be the finishing touch on the fun. I wasn’t disappointed with my girls reactions. They really liked what I pulled together!
I had my husband collect Starbucks frappuccino bottles because they are a cute shape and size for the kids. I made the glass wrappers to not only add cuteness to the party, but that way the girls knew which glass was theirs. They picked their favorite cutie mark and kept it for the whole slumber party.
I used the cutie marks again on the favor bags. I just used them a little larger and cut out in an oval. I found the bags on clearance at Michael’s for $0.18 each! I knew they were colorful and perfect for this party.
For the center of the table, I made the cute marks even larger and adhered them onto wooden dowels. They were placed in a My Little Pony bucket I found at Party City. I held them in place with glass gems, which were covered with pink tissue paper. It was a very simple and easy centerpiece to make. To add a little more, I used the pink table runner (found at Hobby Lobby), My Little Pony confetti, and a few of our ponies. It wasn’t anything elaborate, but it worked really well for this space and time I had.
Everything we did at the party had a tent style label. They all have the character name and cutie mark along with the food, game or activity name.
To me, the tent style labels, add to the decor and the cuteness at the party. They make things seem like a professional party planner was there or like someone didn’t just throw things together….or maybe that is just me. π
I have the My Little Pony birthday party printables available for you to purchase and use as well. As usual, I’m keeping the price very reasonable (I’m admittedly cheap, but I’m always amazed at what a printable pack can cost).
The printable party pack includes the glass wrappers, tent style labels, as well as the large and small cute marks. It is pre-filled in and not customizable.
What do you like to add to a party to be the finishing touch that pulls it all together? Do tell, I’d love more ideas and if you comment below other readers can get more ideas as well.
