This is a sponsored post for which I received both product and compensation. All opinions and experiences are 100% my own.I’m super excited to show you today’s Halloween craft idea. My girls and I were given the opportunity to try the new Pom Tree Kids kits. We had a great time coming up with ideas for the kits. I’m sure it won’t shock anyone that we came up with Halloween crafts for our dolls. Just wait until you see how cute they are and how easy and mess-free they were to make.

These are such a cute American Girl Doll crafts and Halloween crafts! Make these cute DIY treat bags and Halloween candy for our dolls.

Total cuteness and total creativity! Don’t you just love it!
My girls and I have been trying to have a craft day once a month for the last three months. It was my idea to actually try to scrapbook and maybe get caught up (the impossible dream). The first month, we had sibling world war one. The second month, I tanked the idea in favor of getting the house more organized and getting a blog post completed. This month, I was determined to actually have a successful craft day. Cute Halloween crafts to make from #PomTreeKids kits for your dolls. #AGDolls #AmericanGirlDoll #Crafts #Halloween #RealCoake
When I saw the kits that Pom Tree Kids sent to us, I knew we were going to finally have a successful craft day. There are so many items in the tubs and in the mega kits, it was easy for my girls imaginations to run wild with tons of ideas. I loved knowing that I wouldn’t have a huge messy gluey table when we were done because the kits do not require any glue at all. Love that!
We talked about all of their ideas and settled on making some trick or treat bags for our dolls.

Supplies:

Pom Tree Kids Mega Kit
Pom Tree Kids Sticker Tub(s)
Small gift bags
Cellophane treat bags
Scissors
Hole Punch

Our gift bags had handles on them. The girls wanted to have fun making their own handles with items in the Pom Tree Kids Mega Kit. To make your own handle, just snip the handles off of the bags. Then use your hole punch to make a place for your created handle. You can punch the holes in the front and back of the bag or in the sides of the bag.

My girls sat at the kitchen table and let their imaginations run with all kinds of ideas for their trick or treat bags. They worked and shared well together. It was totally delightful. Of course the table was a huge mess with everything dumped out, but when time was up, they easily cleaned it up by putting what was left back into the original container. They honestly didn’t even complain about it. I was pleasantly shocked.

Snowflake made two Halloween bags. She used the cute bird stickers from one of the kits as well as a few of the foam tally sticks, pom poms and other stickers. For her handles, she used some of the chenille stems and the pony beads from the mega kit. Her doll, Paige, was so excited with her trick or treat bag.

Pumpkin made two bags as well. She used the chenille stems for her handles and a bunch of the cute stickers. I thought it was fun to see how they repurposed some of the stickers to make them more spooky for Halloween. My girls definitely don’t lack in the imagination and creativity department.

Now our dolls are all ready for Halloween and for trick or treating!

I love that we finally had a successful craft day. Well truth be told, the kids had a successful craft day and I snuck away and made a little something to go with their craft rather than working on the scrapbook I had planned to work on. I couldn’t let them be the only ones having fun with the Pom Tree Kids kits! I made some cute doll sized candy to go in their trick or treat bags. It was super easy and the girls were so happy with the craft they made completely on their own!

To make your own doll candy, use the pom poms from the Pom Tree Kids mega kit and a small square cut from a cellophane treat bag.

Roll the pom pom in the cellophane.

Use small pieces cut from the chenille stems to secure the ‘candy’ in the wrapper. You can see above that I twisted the stem together then folded it back and around.

Thanks to Pom Tree Kids kits we finally had a successful and fun girls craft day! Now our dolls are almost ready for Halloween. I showed you the witch hats I made for them last week. Later this week, I will complete their outfits…you will have to tune in for that one.
Now our dolls have a way to collect all the yummy Halloween candy…that might be the most important thing to get ready for Halloween, right?

Coming over from SITS Saturday Sharefest!

These are SO cute. My daughter is only 16 months old so I am looking forward to doing crafts with her in the future. And getting her an AG doll to boot! I might get her a bitty baby first when she turns 2 because I can’t wait to visit that store!

Great site, I love all the colorful crafts you have going on here.

You will have so much fun when she is old enough…trust me! I bet she would have fun with a bitty baby. My oldest had one and loved her! The store is kind of like going to Disney…so fun and such a great experience.
