While I know we haven’t had Thanksgiving yet, I also know that for those of us who plan to make some Christmas gifts or decorations this year, we have to start figuring it out and making things now. This year, with my limited time, I wanted to be organized and make sure I got everything I needed the first time. I made myself a planner and have a free printable planner for you as well.
Sometimes it get s a little confusing to know exactly what you need and how much you need. I don’t know about you, but I have definitely ended up with too much or too little of something when pulling together holiday presents and decorations. This handy planner I made will keep both of us on track. It can also allow you to order things online if you are planning ahead. You can order from a craft website and get their great prices and free shipping because you have planned it out! Love that….and that is exactly what I’ve done this year. Let me show you.
I’ve always looked at online craft sites and thought it would be great to order from them because I love their prices. Truthfully, I’m not going to do that when all I need is a jar of glitter. It just doesn’t makes sense to me. So, this year I knew I wanted to plan ahead so I could order online. I have a little secret for you….I don’t really like shopping. So, when I can order online, I love it! When ConsumerCrafts.com offered to payย me to try out their site and let you know about my experience, I knew I really wanted to go for it. They also gave me a gift card to buy a few supplies. ::glee:: Happy crafty blogger. ๐
Like I said, I don’t really like shopping, so this was great for me. I used my planner and came up with my ideas for gifts and decorations I want to make this year. I filled in the form with the supplies I would need, who the gift was for and how many of each supply I would need. (The sheet pictured above isn’t my real sheet…I didn’t want to give away all my secrets to you just yet!)
Next came the fun part. I picked up my tablet and headed to Consumer Crafts. I used my list to select the supplies I needed. By having a list I was able to stay focused! Umm, you might need that as well because Consumer Crafts has sooo many fun and crafty products that I could very easily get distracted and not get what I needed…but get a whole lot of other fun things instead. Yes…I’m easily distracted by shiny objects and fun craft supplies. ๐
For one thing I plan to make, I need these round tins. They were easy to find by just using the search function on the site. Added those to my cart…check.
Next up I need glitter for another craft I’m going to be working on. I searched for glitter and was greeted with a plethora of choices. ๐
I selected this red 4 oz. jar of glitter, which finalized my cart. Then all I had to do was breeze through the checkout and presto, shopping done! Supplies are on the way to my house! Love!
Ordering from Consumer Crafts was crazy easy and enjoyable. ย Of course sitting on my couch with a glass of wine to order craft supplies…what’s not to like!
I highly recommend you give this way of preparing for the holiday season a try this year. It was so easy and the prices that Consumer Crafts offers are fantastic! I don’t think I could match them locally and I know I would have had to go to more than one store to get everything I needed. So, this was much more convenient and saved me money. They also offer free shipping on orders over $75 so with my handy planner, you won’t have any issue reaching that and maximizing your money.
If you need more inspiration for you handmade gifts or decorations, you can look at the Consumer Crafts Holiday catalog. It has plenty of inspiration, then you can use the planner I made to help organize yourself and enjoy the preparation as much as the crafting this year. Here is my Handmade Christmas Planner.
Have you order craft supplies online before? What did you think? I thought it was delightful!
Great idea! I could definitely use a printable like this! Especially when searching for supplies on Consumer Crafts. ๐
Glad you like it and find it helpful! Enjoy and happy shopping!
I love Consumer Crafts! They are awesome!
They sure are!
I’ve looked at Consumer Crafts on the internet before, but I haven’t ordered from them yet. The Holiday Catalog has cute ideas. I wish I was half as organized as you KC!
Oh and they have great prices on washi tape!
Doesn’t the Holiday Catalog have some great ideas! I had to stop looking or I would have never gotten anything done. ๐
