Are you ready for Halloween? It is only 2 weeks away now. I don’t know about you, but there are still quite a few ideas and projects I’ve got that I wanted to get done. Today, I finished an easy and fun idea I want to share with you. This is the perfect idea for a Halloween party or just to jazz up your Halloween dinner table. I think I may send a few of these in Snowflake’s school lunch…cuteness!
I made these quick and easy Halloween utensil holders. I think they would add cuteness to a Halloween party or just some fun to your dinner table (at home you can just use your regular silverware and save the earth a bit from the plastic stuff). They literally take minutes to make and would make a serving line at a Halloween party go quickly…just grab and go. It would also make it a ton easier to carry the napkin and silverware since it is all in one. Let me show you how to make these cuties.
Craft Supplies:
- Paper lunch bags
- Napkins
- Silverware
- Washi tape
- Scissors
Fold up the bottom of the bag.
Add Washi tape to the new folded bottom of the bag.
Add a piece of Washi tape to the top of the folded portion (the original bottom of the bag). Make sure it hangs over the edge of the bag.
Fold the Washi tape over the edge of the bag and press down.
Place Washi tape on the sides of the bag, allowing the tape to overhang the edge. Press the overhung tape around to the back of the bag. This picture shows the back side of the bag, so you can see what I mean by the overhang of the tape.
Your new Halloween party utensil holder is complete!
Add orange, black or purple silverware along with a napkin in those same Halloween colors.
Ready to party? Yep! I promised it would be quick and easy, though I can’t promise it will be quick and easy if you are having a party for 100 people.
Do you have any Halloween parties this year? How do you plan to cute-ify your party?
More Halloween fun for you:
Oh Halloween! I feel like I’ve only just got used to September and the kids going back to school.
I know…it does feel like things fly along, doesn’t it!
this is such a cute and simple idea!
Thanks so much!
