Can you believe it is already nearing the end of the year? Before we blink the holidays will be over and it will be the new year. This is about the time of year that I start shopping for a new printable calendar to keep track of all the moving parts of our family’s life. I love a fresh new planner and all the possibilities it holds. 🙂
I know a lot of you are busy moms, just like me, and that it can get overwhelming to keep up with your schedule, the kids’ activities, meals, the house and everything else we have going on.
I’m a firm believer in taking a few minutes each day or each week to update my calendar and plan things out accordingly. It helps me keep up with what is going on, actually show up where I am supposed to be, saves me money and adds a level of peace and a feeling of success to my life. I am certain that if you take the time to do the same, you will have the same results.
If you are feeling overwhelmed with everything going on in your life and like you are frazzled and can’t keep up, I highly recommend that you start by taking the time to get your calendar organized.
I’ve got a whole post for you on how to tackle your calendar and your schedule. As you start taking control of your calendar, you will need somewhere to keep track of all of the activities, meals, bills, cleaning, and to-do lists.
The Real Organized planner is just perfect for you because it was created by me, a busy mom who used to miss appointments and show up at parties without what I was signed up to bring. Now, I feel less frazzled and more in control. I show up with what I am supposed to bring and I’m even on time a lot of the time. Woot! Woot! It all started by taking control of my calendar.
So, why is my printable calendar great for busy moms? Imagine being able to keep up with your home, family meals and all those meetings, appointments and activities without feeling overwhelmed, frazzled and as though you can’t keep up.
The Real Organized Calendar has all of that built right into one place, so you don’t have to look here and there for all the various balls we as moms juggle. It is all together in one concise place and you can bind it like you see pictured or buy the rings (affiliate links) and hole punch and keep it Happy Planner style! That is my favorite style!
The planner has a spot to keep track of all those important dates for the year.
I love that they are all on one page. It makes it so easy to see at a glance what important dates occur in each month.
To really help you feel less frazzled, having a monthly overview is essential. This allows you to see the big plan of what is to come, not just the nitty gritty of today or this week. There is a spot on the right that leaves you room to plan out any important events or tasks that need to happen this month.
Of course, as will all of my planners, I’ve got pages of cute stickers that you can add to your calendar. Stickers = cuteness = fun! These stickers match the planner perfectly and go well with washi tape and Happy Planner stickers(affiliate link) to add some more fun if you like decorating your planner.
For the stickers that come with the planner, you will need to print them on sticker paper. I’ve tested tons of sticker paper to see which works best. This is my favorite repositionable sticker paper(affiliate link). This sticker paper sticks well and is also easily moveable when life throws changes at you, as it always does.
In order to make the week more manageable, I find it best to translate that monthly calendar to a weekly calendar. It helps me see which are the super busy days that need a crockpot dinner or those that we need to eat out. I can also then make a plan for when I’m going to do my loads of laundry and cleaning for that week. The Real Organized calendar has spots for keeping track of all of those things.
I’m telling you when you create a system in your life to keep up with all of your meals, family activities, cleaning and even the bills in one simple place, it brings peace, calm and a wonderful feeling of success that you took care of your needs and that of your family. Love that!
When you purchase your Real Organized Printable Calendar, I’ve got an extra bonus for you!
A printable daily planner!
I don’t do a day planner for every day, but I love having them for those super busy days. If you are using the Happy Planner punch and rings to hold your planner it is really easy to add a Daily planner in whenever you have a super busy day. When I take the time to make a plan for the busy days, I find that I am so much more productive. I’m sure you feel the same way.
With this daily planner, there are spaces for notes, your goals, things to remember, the bills due that day and your cleaning for the day. All things to help you stay on top of the multiple mom hats you wear and help you feel less overwhelmed and more focused on those busy days.
It’s time to not only feel organized and on the ball, but to be organized and on the ball by taking control managing of your family schedule, meals, bill and cleaning all in one simple and beautiful location.
The next step toward adding some peace, calm and organization to your life is to buy the Real Organized Planner. Then have fun getting it set up and organized. If you are like me, it will be fun to decorate it each week with the stickers. I find it relaxing and fun! Even if you don’t decorate your planner, it will help you stay on top of your busy mom life and that will be awesome!
