Welcome to week #16 of the Real Family Fun link party! I’m glad you’ve joined us this week.
Real Family Fun Link Party

This week has been another busy week. Though, I didn’t feel well over the holiday weekend, so I mostly did nothing. It was kind of nice and kind of weird. Me, doing nothing? Doesn’t happen very often. I’m hoping that once all our end the year activities are over next week, things will settle down a bit. Fingers crossed for that!

This week I guest posted on The Shaffer Sisters as part of their Make for Mom series.

I made myself a new business card holder that I am really excited about.

Business Card Holder
You can see more of my Business Card Holder and get the free pattern on The Shaffer Sisters Blog. While you are there, take a look at the fantastic sewing they do. They make some pretty amazing clothes for themselves and their kids. I’m inspired and may some day take on making something for my girls. Also take a look at their current series, of which I was a part, it is all about Mom’s making things for themselves.
Over here, this week I gave you an idea for a Father’s Day gift; an etched glass jar to use as a candy jar. I also put together 18 sewing patterns/tutorials for you and I showed you an idea for chalkboard crate in which you could store all your summer veggies from the farmer’s market or csa. Yum, Yum!

Let’s get on with this week’s link party! Can’t wait to see what you have been up to this week.

I am so impressed. I definitely need one of those — though I can’t imagine making one. I looked at the pattern and I do sew. Maybe it’s possible?

I think it is possible, but honestly I wouldn’t start back to sewing with this pattern. It was a bit confusing to follow. I would try something a bit more simple or easy to understand. Sorry that isn’t much help. Boo!
