Before you start you trip, take a moment to visit Pumpkin Patches and More.org. This site has listings by state (and even a few other countries) of pumpkin patches in your area. You can read about the pumpkin patch and what they offer before your visit. You can usually find out if they offer u-pick pumpkins or ready picked or both. The site will tell you if they offer any other fun options as well. This is where to spend a little time and think about what your family will enjoy.
Do you and your family head to a pumpkin patch each year? What additional tips/resources do you have?
I link up with these great link parties and at Between Naps on the Porch, Savvy Southern Style.

we are planning a trip to the big one out here this sunday! I’m hoping the weather is nice!
I hope you and your family had a fun time at the pumpkin patch! Did the weather cooperate?
Take care,
