Well, we might as well just clear the air now, I think I may have a pom pom problem. They are just so stinking cute and add so much fun to so many things. They are easy and quick to make. My girls love making them… and I could go on! If I don’t post on my blog for a while, I’ve either been admitted to rehab for pom pom addiction or I’ve snuck off to make more!

Gift wrap idea using adorable pom poms. #GiftWrap #Gifts #PomPoms #RealCoakeI’ve already shown you how to make pom poms and shown you my summer centerpiece using pom poms, today, my obsession turns to gift wrap. Snowflake’s best friend had a birthday recently. I wanted her gift to look extra special. I pulled some yarn from my stash when I made the yarn wreaths and whipped up 3 pom poms using my pom pom makers to add to the top of her present. Of course what else would go better with pom poms then my other new obsession, baker’s twine. I got to combine both in one cute gift wrap session. Happy day, happy day!

After making the 3 pom poms with my pom pom makers, all I needed to do was use the extra tails from tying the pom poms off. I used those tails to tie them together, keeping those knots as close to the center of the pom pom as I could so they wouldn’t be visible. Once I got the baker’s twine on the package, I simply tied the pom poms to the package using the yarn that was stringing them together and the baker’s twine. Then just clip any extra yarn off and you are done. Super easy!

Next, maybe I’ll show you what we are up to using 2 of the small pom pom makers….or I could show you some cards with baker’s twine…ohh the possibilities! Until then, make it a happy day by adding some pom poms or baker’s twine to your day!

What an awesome way to present gifts!!! These would look great in green and red for Christmas. I can understand why you just may be addicted to making pom poms. I can already see so many uses for them.
