We are on the road on our 6,300 mile road trip. We are having a great time. The only sad thing is that we don’t have a kitchen. I wish we did because thisĀ nutella recipe to make frosty’s sounds so yummy and refreshing on a hot summer day. It is a perfect activity for kids in the kitchen and for us to spend some time together.

This Nutella Recipe looks amazing! Great summer activities for kids and adults to make Nutella Frosty's together. Yum!

Today, I’ve got Rachel fromĀ Life a Little Brighter. She is sharing her Nutella frosty recipe with us. It looks delicious and it looks like a fantastic activity for some real summer fun.

This is only one idea in my series of Real Summer of Fun activities. The activities are designed to be simple and inexpensive things we can do with our kids to make this a summer of real fun for everyone.

Take it away Alison!

I’m Alison, the mom andĀ chef behind Life a Little Brighter. I’ve been blogging for a few years now, mostly recipes, and have been a longtime fan/admirer of KC and her blog. When she invited me to be a part of the Real Summer of Fun Series, I jumped at the opportunity and knew just the treat to share with you all.

Just four ingredients, and so easy that the kids can work in the kitchen right alongside you. Yummy treat and keep the kids busy? Let’s do it!

Sweetened Condensed Milk, Cool Whip, Nutella, and Chocolate Milk.

That’s it!

And yes, knock-offs will also work for this recipe. I used generic whipped topping and hazelnut spread, and it turned out perfectly. Gotta love that.

Blend it all up in food processor or mixer, and then freeze for a few hours or overnight.

I scooped it out like ice cream. It melts fairly quickly in the summer heat. If you want to go straight to milkshake consistency, you can churn it in a mixer for a few minutes.
