If you lack time and struggle to manage ‘it all’ as a busy woman with a family and you would love to feel more in control of your home and family life…even be more organized, this is the place for you! I’m so glad you found this Real Organized series because it was created just for you.
As a busy mom, there is always SO much going on and if your house is like mine, whether you want it or not, most everything falls on you. Taking care of the kids’ activities, schedules, and appointments, planning meals, cleaning the house, doing laundry, making sure everyone gets fed….and the list goes on. I’m sure you know just what I mean.
I’m also sure you know how overwhelming it feels on almost a daily basis, if not a daily basis. It can feel so stressful and lead to grouchy, angry moms who are tired and totally feel unappreciated and overworked.
I feel you! I’ve been right there, to the point of totally missing activities or showing up at a potluck with nothing and so on. I hated the feeling that I was so unreliable and frazzled. I also didn’t like feeling so scattered. It is hard managing work, family, and home. No doubt about it, but I am someone who easily sees how to create systems and organize things, so I applied those skills to my home and family. That is how the Real Organized system came to be (and a whole bunch of other organization posts on my blog).
Over the course of a few years, I let things go and lightened my load of commitments. That made has made a huge difference. In addition to that, I put a lot of organization or systems into place in my home and with my family. I knew that others would benefit from my ability to see and create organization, so I decided to share it with you.
I don’t want to overwhelm anyone. I did this over the course of a few years….not all at one time. So, to that end, I’m sharing one small(ish) sized project each week. The projects will last for 13 weeks and I promise you, in the end, you will be so glad you took them on and that you feel more in control of your home and family life. You are going to love being more organized so that you can have clarity of mind and peace….even free time as a busy mom.
I’ve got all of the projects for you below. You could totally try to do them all right now and go for it, but I don’t want you to do that. It will totally overwhelm you and you probably won’t carry through.
The next step towards creating an organized home and family life while maintaining your peace and clarity of mind is to sign up for the Real Organized Series. I will email you one project each week. That way you have a whole week to work on it before you try another project (or if you are like me and this takes you longer, you will have the email to refer to any time you need).
When you sign up for the Real Organized series via email, I’m also going to send you some cute bonus printables that will help you organize other areas of your life as well (like the holidays!) and I’ve got some other bonus surprises for you. So, what are you waiting for? Say goodbye to feeling like you have no time and you aren’t able to manage your home and your family while maintaining your sanity and sign up for the Real Organized series today.
Oh yeah, one last thing, I’d love to see and hear about your projects. You can tag me (and follow me) and use the hashtag #RealOrganized on Instagram and I will check things out. Can’t wait to see some of your projects!

Hi KC
I can’t wait to see what you are working on! I promised myself to be more organized this year. My problem is just being too lazy sometimes.
I started monday off with a weeks worth of sandwiches for the kids lunches, all made and in the freezer.
I can only imagine writing a blog is a lot of work to make it successful.
I tried writing a blog just to keep a journal of sorts, and that didn’t last too long. Life gets busy!
Good for you for keeping it up.
I enjoy reading every post.
I went to sign up but I received an error saying my email is already in the system. Just wanted to let you know that happened. I assume I will keep getting the weekly updates and when your e-book is released.
Oh, and don’t stress out too much, have fun with it!
