This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and EQtainment, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia  #Qsracetothetop https://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

You guys remember how I love spending time with my family? I know you enjoy spending time with your family as well! We LOVE a good family game night at our house. How about you? It is always fun to find a new game to play that the whole family will enjoy. Sometimes with the 5 years between my girls that can be a bit challenging. Plan a family game night to promote conversation, connection and fun as a family! #FamilyGameNight #GameNight #FamilyFun #Qsracetothetop #pmedia #ad #RealCoake Sometimes as much as I want us to have fun together as a family, I also want to make sure we are making time for connection and for talking. That doesn’t always mix well with a family game night. I also, as you probably remember, love to get my girls and myself moving. Keeping active is important to me.

For our family game night this week, we found a game that puts all three of those components together! Fantastic, right? Plan a family game night to promote conversation, connection and fun as a family! #FamilyGameNight #GameNight #FamilyFun #Qsracetothetop #pmedia #ad #RealCoake Q’s Race to the Top is a new game from EQtainment, in fact the Kickstarter campaign just launched! Q’s Race to the Top gives kids a chance to practice emotional intelligence(things like self-control, empathy, and social skills) and motor skills in a fun way. Plan a family game night to promote conversation, connection and fun as a family! #FamilyGameNight #GameNight #FamilyFun #Qsracetothetop #pmedia #ad #RealCoake It is a game that promotes conversation. Not only does it promote conversation, it helps your kids develop emotional intelligence.

My oldest daughter, 12 years old, thought that some of the questions were a babyish, but what is funny about that is that she loved answering them. I think she liked that she could have her role as being the oldest and wisest and share what she has learned.

My kids are usually interested in learning about Mr. T or I’s childhoods. Q’s Race to the Top had questions that promoted those types of conversations. The girls enjoyed hearing some of the stories from our younger days. They heard a few of our mistakes and some of our triumphs. We learned a few things about our kids as well.

When we started the game, we all would answer a question that was on the card. If you have a long time, feel free to play the game that way. We realized that the game was moving along too slowly playing that way, as much as we were enjoying hearing each others answers. I recommend, to make the game the most fun, only the person who picks the card answers the question. Plan a family game night to promote conversation, connection and fun as a family! #FamilyGameNight #GameNight #FamilyFun #Qsracetothetop #pmedia #ad #RealCoake There are physical activities built into the game as well. We had everyone participate in those (except me because I have a hurt foot…boo!). It was fun to get up from the table and do an activity.

Had I taken pictures of all the physical activities, I could have some great pics to use against people some day. Hehe! There are some fun and even some challenging motor skills in the game.

I love that they built this component into the game. Plan a family game night to promote conversation, connection and fun as a family! #FamilyGameNight #GameNight #FamilyFun #Qsracetothetop #pmedia #ad #RealCoake I do think this game is going to do best with a younger set, 3 to maybe 9 or 10. My 12-year-old was a little harder to engage in the game. Of course, anytime we can come together as a family, interact, learn about each other and play is a good time!

As I mentioned Q’s Race to the Top just launched their Kickstarter, if you want to support this project head on over and check out their campaign. It will be so great to see products like Q’s Race to the Top in the marketplace!

Love family game night. This game is just right for my kids almost 3 & 5. I’ll have to show it to my husband.
