There are 3 categories for you today:

Hopefully, if I got the coding correct, you should be able to click on the picture or the link below to take you to that post. If any don’t work or are incorrect, please feel free to let me know in the comments.
Crafts
Our latest American Girl craft was an idea from the American Girl Magazine. Valentine Mailboxes are super easy and fun to make. They really could be used all year round, not just at Valentine’s.
Both of my girls wanted a bed for their dolls. We didn’t want to spend the money for an official AG bed, so we bought plain beds at IKEA. Each girl got to design her bed, which I painted for them. This is Snowflake’s Stenciled bed.
Pumpkin wanted a Polka Dot Bed. So, that is what I painted for her.
Our dolls, totally needed a cute scarf to keep them warm during the winter. We made scarves for them from pom poms. Super cute!
Sewing
Our dolls are also Girl Scouts along with their big girls. Of course, they needed a uniform to wear to their meetings. For Christmas, I gave each of my girls’ a Girl Scout Uniform for her doll. It is a free pattern!
Here is another free pattern for your doll. We felt that our dolls needed some holiday fashion, so I whipped up these super easy reversible skirts for them.
Once we had our beds all painted, we certainly needed some bedding for the beds. The IKEA bedding was Ok, but we wanted something cute. I came up with a free pattern for the bedding.
Snowflake’s doll loves to cook. I found this free pattern to make a chef set for her doll. I LOVE the oven mitt! This post also contains information about another skirt and vest set I made.
I’ve made doll t-shirts two different ways and learned a few things along the way. I’m sharing my tips and advice/opinions about making t-shirts.
Another free pattern. This is my favorite go-to pattern for making things for the dolls. If you are paying much attention to these posts…you will notice this skirt gets made a lot. It is so easy and cute. Free pattern for a reversible wrap skirt.
This is the first thing I ever sewed for our dolls. It is a cute and relatively easy to sew Drawstring Dress. Of course, it is a free pattern as well.
Parties
Our most recent AG birthday party, was a McKenna party.
We also had a Felicity American Girl party. I made these invitations for the party and show you how to make our own.
I made simple favor bags to go with our Felicity party. They fit the theme really well and were pretty easy to make.
The dolls that came to our Felicity party, needed cups from which to drink. I made some and show you how to make your own drinking cups for dolls.
The dolls at our Felicity party also really needed napkins. I made a napkin for each doll. I show you how to make your own doll napkins.
I also showed you a few ideas for easy and inexpensive, yet cute decorations for our Felicity party.
We had yummy food for the Felicity American Girl party. Come get ideas for food for your birthday party.
We also had lots of fun with activities and games at the Felicity party.
Whew! I’ve posted a lot of things American Girl and guess what? There are lots more to come! We are having fun with the dolls around our house and are full of lots of ideas, crafts and sewing. So stay tuned for more…in fact, next week I have an adorable Easter idea and another AG giveaway! Ohh la la!

Visiting from Delightfully Inspiring Thursday linkup – so glad I came! What great ideas – will have to pin this, to keep as ideas for a granddaughter of mine who loves American Girl dolls. Thanks for sharing these …
My daughters ages 6 and 11 are continuously sewing clothes for their American Girl dolls and stuffed animals. I think they will love the pom-pom necklace. It’s awesome.
How fun…we have girls the same exact ages! I hope they have a great time if they make the pom-pom scarves. My girls had fun making those.
Take care,
KC
So cute. I love the wrap skirts – keeping that idea in mind especially for my daughter’s doll.

The girl scout vest will not load on google. Is there a free 0ne piece vest pattern somewhere else?
I’m not sure what the issue is for you. If you click on the picture of the vest that post should come up. I just tried it and it worked. Then look in the post for the link to Bear, Dolly & Moi. That will take you to the post on her site with the pattern. I hope that helps!

excellent scout outfit
Thank you
SO MANY AMERICAN GIRL CRAFTS, SEWING & PARTIES–WOW! Where do I start? Sewing: reversible flared skirts, drawstring sundress, Chef Set, T-shirts, Girl Scout uniforms, etc. . . I’ve sewn AG doll clothes from several patterns for my 7 grandnieces and now 1 more will be 3 yrs old soon. Over the past 8 years I designed AG bedding sets, quilts & matching pillow, sheet & matching pillow & plus for Bitty baby, same sets in baby fabrics with a cap for sleeping to match. All cotton wovens & percale designs & flannels were purchased at JoAnns on sale. Sarah Helene in Minneapolis
OH, I forgot to add that for AG dolls, I used my imagination to crochet many one-of a kind purses, hats, scarves, shawls, skirt & vest sets, plus blankets & rugs. I designed them myself & gifted most to grandnieces, and friends’ who have granddaughters over the past 10 years. I had loads of FUN creating clothes & accessories using mostly scraped of thinner yarn, except for the rugs. I did use a couple dress, sundress, cardis & pullover sweater patterns I found on Ravelry website, FREE patterns. Sarah Helene in Minneapolis
