Before we left on our road trip, I got one last fix…Stitch Fix that is. 😉 Today, I’m sharing all the fun that was in the box with my latest Stitch Fix review.

I love the fashion and summer outfits in this Stitch Fix Review. Cuteness! I need that purse!

This month, I asked my stylist to send me things that would be great for our upcoming road trip. I also have a special 50th Anniversary dinner to go to for my parents while we are on our journey, so I needed something for that.

Just in case you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix (affiliate links throughout this post) and you are a busy mom (like me) or don’t like to shop (like me) or have a fashion addiction and have always secretly wanted your own stylist….Stitch Fix if for you.

You will want to start by signing up for Stitch Fix by clicking here. When you do so, you will fill out a style survey. It will give your stylist ideas of what you like and don’t like as well as your sizing information. Then you need to sign up for your first fix and wait patiently until the box comes. If you are like me, the date of your next fix will be kind of like your due date when you were pregnant….you won’t forget it. At. All.

When your fix is sent, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. Once the box arrives, try on everything in the box within 3 days. I love that I can try things on any time I want and any time that is convenient for me.

Select what you plan to keep and what you plan to return. Go online to your Stitch Fix account and check out. Leave your stylist very specific information about what you liked and didn’t like. It will help future fixes get even better. I’ve also found that starting a specific Stitch Fix Pinterest board (like mine here) and ONLY pinning things I would actually wear and that I think would look good on me (versus inspiration and amazing things you like, but would look horrible on) to that board has helped. I leave notes in the pins as to what I like or don’t like in the pin.

As you check out, you will pay for whatever you are keeping. At that time, your $20 styling fee will be deducted from the total cost of the items you are keeping. If you hit the jackpot and you love everything in your box, you will get a 25% discount off everything in the box! Yay!

So let’s see what fun was in the box this month.

I love the fashion and summer outfits in this Stitch Fix Review. Cuteness! I need that purse!First up was the Sweet Grey Abbots Knit Top.I love the fashion and summer outfits in this Stitch Fix Review. Cuteness! I need that purse!

I tried it on with the shorts from my 16th Stitch Fix. I was able to use the photography backdrop I made and showed you last week with the back to school pictures.

The top fit fine, but I didn’t just love it. It was OK and if I wasn’t leaving on a road trip in a few days, I might have kept it. As it was, I wanted to save my pennies for the road trip instead of buying another shirt.

This is the Olive & Oak Belair Button Up Top.

I paired the top with the Level 99 Lillian Distressed Crop Skinny Jean.

I have to tell you how much I love this outfit! I have wanted a pair of white jeans for a long time. I also LOVE this top. To me, this is such a great summer outfit and perfect for the cooler NW summer we will have on our road trip.

I did feel like the jeans were too tight. Tighter than I would feel comfortable wearing. I also think that white and a road trip may not be the best combination.

If the jeans had been one size larger, I probably would have kept them, but they got sent back.

My stylist sent this adorable Street Level Herman Structured Crossbody Bag. She felt like it would be great for our road trip and our sightseeing days.

I really debated the bag because I wasn’t sure it would work. It is very small. My large sunglasses don’t fit in the bag in their case, but in the end I decided to go for the bag. I’m so glad I did. This bag was fantastic while we were sightseeing in Chicago. It was also the perfect bag for our day at Mall of America. I loved having what I needed, but not having my usual big bag. I know it is going to come in handy when we are in Seattle, Portland, Disneyland, and Southern California.

Lastly, my stylist sent me the Brixon Ivy Aya Eyelet Dress. She thought it would be great for the 50th Anniversary dinner we will be going to in San Diego.

I love the dress! It is perfect. Since I lost 40 pounds about 5 years ago, I never really replaced any dresses. I wear them so seldom. I figured my parents 50th is a good reason to buy a dress.

Now you may remember, if you have read any of my other Stitch Fix review posts, that I can’t ever get through a session photographing what I got without at least one of my kids photobombing me.

This time, my daughter decided a Beanie Boo would start things off.

Then she found her way into the pictures.

After that is was just madness! Never mind that mommy is sleep deprived and trying to get 6 weeks worth of blog posts done before we leave on our road trip…nope! Photobombing is the thing to do. 🙂

So ends another Stitch Fix review….the dress looks good on me, no? Help me! 😉

  • Olive & Oak Belair Button Up Top – $48 – Kept
  • Level 99 – Lillian Distressed Crop Skinny Jean – $98 – Returned
